Always start with the invitation.  The design of your invitation gives you a starting point to jump off from. It will give you ideas for your favors, decorations and food.

We carry several adorable

The Favors

Cowboy Theme Party Favor

Small pail by goodpailstohave.com

We love to find fun and unique party favors for kids parties.  We came across great cowboy western fabric covered pails to hold candy, pencils, or a favorite treat.

I love to use my favors as decorations for the party.  It saves money and time!  Line the cowboy pails up on the mantel to bring your theme throughout the house.

The Food

Licorice Lassos – Loop and tie your favorite flavor licorice to make mini edible lassos.

Root Beer Floats – Straight from the saloon, these root beer floats are served in beer mugs to give it an authentic wild west look.

The Fun

Cowboy Boots Party Invitation

Wild Western Photos – Have the kids dress up in cowboy western garb and take their pictures in a wild west “photo booth”. Choose a place to decorate a wild west backdrop.

If you have a digital camera and photo editing software – you can convert the photos to sepia tone for that old fashion look.

Send the country western photos to your guests with their thank you note.

"Wanted" Scavenger Hunt - Print up a scavenger hunt list on a Wanted Sign.  Use the western party theme to create the list of items for the children to find.

The Decorations

Let the kids be involved in the creating decorations.  Or, let them be the decorations themselves by having them dress up as cowboys and cowgirls for the party.

Sheriff Badges – Before the party, cut star shaped badges out of construction paper.  Have the kids decorate the badges and wear them during the party.  Encourage them to make up a sheriff name and include it on the badge.
